The Institute of Botswana Quantity Surveyors (IBQS) successfully hosted its 2026 Annual General Meeting, celebrating another year of growth, collaboration, and progress.
In her report, IBQS Chairperson Malebang Tebele highlighted the Institute’s continued growth and reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the Quantity Surveying profession in Botswana.
We were honoured to welcome Matthew Ngulube, President of the Association of African Quantity Surveyors, who shared insights on the future of Quantity Surveying across Africa and encouraged Botswana’s QS firms to become active participants in AAQS initiatives, strengthening regional collaboration and professional excellence.
Treasurer Richard Mazebedi presented the Institute’s financial report, highlighting a strong financial recovery and a positive outlook for the future.
